Tom came to quote and gave a figure much higher than expected. I knew before the £500 was too low but to put £1000 seemed OTT. Discussed requirements and Tom researched the prices. Sliding doors were very expensive. We decided on hinged ones instead saving about £200. The final figure was above budget but I felt it was worth it to have the study I wanted. Tom came when said he would and worked hard to complete the project in the time quoted. I like the quality of result and am pleased with the workmanship.

Had ceiling plastered and painted, all painting and wallpapering done. Friendly and polite, nothing was too much trouble. His team (who I expect where family members, but I may be wrong) both where excellent. Work completed to a high standard, Remi promised a finish date and they stayed late on completion day to achieve this. Remi also done another job for me at a fraction of the cost I was quoted. I am having some more work done in a couple of months and wouldn't hesitate to use his team again.Recomended.

Mark and his apprentice turned up on time, erected their scaffolding and repaired the lead on the back of the chimney. It took less time than he thought and adjusted the price accordingly. Having his own scaffolding makes a huge difference to both the price and timescale. Definitely recommended.

I hired this person in August 2023 to paint the outside of a small terraced house. It was in disrepair and needed a lot of preparation done before painting. The sandstone slabs that sit on top of the wall needed leveling off because some of it had fell away. Ian leveled it off with white outdoor polyfilla instead of sand and cement which I paid for and which he subsequently left the job with unused. The polyfilla lasted 12 weeks and has fell away. I'm hoping I can upload photos. Terrible finish

I absolutely love designing spaces and have the skillsets of doing all of the work myself. A lot of people entrust me to design the spaces for them and choose and source all of the materials I use. Of course people may want to do this themselves and I can happily work with provided materials if that is your wish. Each job is different and has its own challenges but with my imagination and experience I transform homes. I am also a trained decorator and provide a high standard of finish. Alex and his team have recently refurbished our house which was in desperate need of a refresh.He and his team are very hard working, hardly taking any breaks,working through from 8.30am to sometimes past 6pm.The whole project was originally meant to take 2 to 3 months but was completed in a little over 6 weeks.As a result of his efforts and those of his subcontractors we've now a house we will be comfortable in for years to come

Richard has done a good job painting our garden fences with preservative. One possible drawback is reviews of preservative chosen by Richard suggests it is of poor quality so may not last too long. Job took a long time from initial enquiry due to very wet and windy weather all winter, but I was kept informed of delays throughout. Happy to recommend Richard.
