George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. They also had all the necessary tools and materials, were ready to buy something additional quickly on the day - if further adjustments were required to fit everything as I asked. Mon Roofing and Building Contractors have been going for near enough 20years. i started up as a roofing and building only buisnes but over the years grew to contracting projects ie extensions , annexes, new builds ext. i have an impressive portfolio and have not used the rated people platform since 2014 . but due to not going for the larger project have now come back on here to look for smaller contracts.
Arwel stood out from the other contractors who applied to do the job because he visited before quoting and made some additional recommendations. He replaced guttering, some loose root tiles and also recommended that we use some protective edging that he also installed. Roof looks great.
RKH FINISHES LTD carry out all aspects of internal finishes from drylining, plastering, joinery, plumbing, electrics, painting etc.
Great communication when there was a short delay. The work was, however, completed exactly when it was meant to be and the standard of workmanship was spot on. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend RKH finishes and would definitely use this company again if the need arose.

John, Terry and the team did a great job. They started on time and were very tidy. They were polite, friendly and helpful. Really nice lads. We made a few changes as we went and they were very accommodating. They fitted a full kitchen, utility room, downstairs cloakroom and built a new porch, which looks great and the finish is excellent. Can't praise them highly enough. Would recommend.

Very unhappy with work completed. Unsafe working practices by team. Roof has more leaks than prior to works starting Damage to asbestos panels Poor workmanship Optimal roofing now ignoring my attempts to contact them. I have had a full house refurb using many contractors and have never experienced anything resembling the appalling standards set by Optimal or their lack of attempt to resolve . DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I am now 1k out of pocket and will have to pay another contractor to fix damage caused

Paul and his guys took down a dividing wall, fitted steel, fitted new ceilings and plastered, along with electrical re-wiring and fitting a new Howden's kitchen for us. We are very pleased with the outcome and would not hesitate to ask Paul back to do further work for us. Waited another week, I asked to be refunded for unfinished work; he refused, I Kept his tools until refunded. He threatened to destroy my garden. I returned tools but no refund given. Poor-quality work. Didn't use whacker to level ground; it was very uneven. Had to remove grass to have it relayed correctly.
