We had our wooden back door replaced for a new uPVC one on 21/10/11 and were very pleased with the job. Communication was excellent - he came and measured the door and provided a price the following day, which was very competitive, as well as a choice of installation dates. Very punctual and tidy, completing the job in a few hours and taking the old door away leaving no mess. We've since requested a quote for new windows which seemed very reasonable. Would recommend.

He managed to fit in my work within days and it was carried out to a high standard. The hall was painted in a colour matched to a Farrow and Ball shade and looks excellent and they carried out sterling work on my damaged front door which has been restored to its former state. Thanks Paul, here is how I see it from a customers perspective. I waited over two weeks for an estimate and had to chase. You said you were off sick and immediately sent me an estimate for £395 . I costed the parts and they were around £70 so you were charging £325 for labour. I reckoned it was a 2hr job and have since had work done and just under 2hrs at a total cost of £190. So in my simple head you were charging £160/hour for labour versus £60/hour . Just tell customers the truth if job too small
