They were very friendly and did an excellent job of rehanging a period door that had come away from the door frame that need cutting out and replacing sections of timber - all at a very reasonable price. We highly recommend these guys - friendly, courteous and helpful. They took the time to explain and discuss everything about our needs to make sure we got what we wanted at the same time as ensuring our finished article was fit for purpose. From a bathroom that wasn’t usable due to problems with low water pressure to a beautiful shower room that is a joy to use. Hired Ronnie McPhee to do my driveway & drop kerb but it was a disaster. We even paid him labour & materials upfront. He said he would fix it but lied to us for 2.5mths for 2wk job & never returned. The job he did at my mums was not any better. He took a deposit of £1500 to build a new driveway & drop kerb. He only dug up the garden & never returned. His son & workmen also took work tools of new contractors we hired to fix my mums place! Cant believe how we have been treated. Don’t trust! 0/10

BMD completed the job a head of time and within budget. The trades men were all good they respected our home and always cleaned up after themselves. Could not say a bad word about them (even the singing brickies). I am so glad I got these alterations done I got the right builder for the job.
