George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. They also had all the necessary tools and materials, were ready to buy something additional quickly on the day - if further adjustments were required to fit everything as I asked. Really pleased with the job, originally only having boiler sorted. Had new boiler fitted and complete bathroom suite installed. Also fitted new flooring in bathroom for me. Not a good experience. Quoted £600 to replace 2 pieces of trellis, fix fence posts and do a general garden tidy up. In total he spent 1/2 a day on the job, so very expensive. The garden tidy was ok if cursory. The job on the trellis was unfortunately not adequate. The fence posts weren't secured, so it remained wobbly, leaning to one side, the trellis wasn't on straight and was split in some places by the screws he's used. Less than 3 months later the trellis fell down. He refused to refund for the labour.
Small builder/bricklayer
Absolutely first class service from Michael and his team. Michael turned up promptly at the agreed time, the job was to rebuild a large garden wall that had collapsed and clear all the rubble and shrubs. All the work has been completed to a very high standard, a pleasure to see proper tradesmen at work, they obviously know what they are doing! I am very pleased with all aspects of the work carried out and would definitely recommend Michael and his team, lovely people and totally reliable. Thank You
