Initially took some time to get the surveyor to view the job, and communication not great, however job priced and went ahead. Plumber completed job quickly, new radiator worked well and drains much better, though not perfect. Waste water continues to come up kitchen sink so this is not fixed. Following completion of the work and speaking to other trades, I discovered that £500 was very pricey for a replacement radiator and drain cleaning. Will be more discerning in future.

I would never use theses fly guy again all week they were in my house to do small jobs they wasted time and always made excuses everyday and did not turn up in morning always late afternoon thats if they bothered to turn up at all and to top it all of they tried to rip me of and charge me £850 for materials for my loft which only cost £298 they also wanted £700 for doing the job which was only flooring a loft the lies they told was disgusting Am going to take this further they should not be trading
He did phone ahead to say he was 15 minutes away, but it was actually an hour. Everything else was OK, got a quote, and he answered the questions I asked.
He Came out to my home, checked the wiring in bathroom and other fittings, provided me with a quote and never returned to finish job, tried to phone him and left text messages, he did not reply? Used the other electrician on rated people.

The Landlord certs are called Electrical installation condition reports you should see some of the things we uncover ! from electrical joints open and live to downlights that have burnt joists to live showers! We always give fair prices for remedial work should we uncover any hidden nasties! We are new to rated people, although I did have a very highly rated company on here, which I sold on - dont let that put you off, just google us and you can see hundreds of reviews on freeindex, google and facebook! I used EIRC for my landlord certificate , they asked for upfront payment first. They recommended either a full rewire or nearly £1000 to fix some issues. They also asked for up front payments which was a warning sign for me. I got a better quote for the work but EICR Edinburgh would not issue my original certificate , I am so glad I never gave them any more money upfront. I would not recommend this company as they are unprofessional and demand payment up which is never standard practice in the industr.
