My day job entails ensuring secure fixings to ceilings and walls. These fixings are secure enough to support people unto 200kg. Due to this role I have developed great experience in making strong fixings, things like shelves, curtain rails and televisions are straight forward now! Im now 31 years old, and hoping to buy a new house with my partner this year, so hope to use this platform to get some evening work to strengthen our deposit! I have put my primary trade as handyman, as although I am an electrician I have been in the trade for a number of years and can turn a hand to most domestic site work. Previously a Production Engineer, but decided to change to a job that was more hands on with a good social connection. I chose building work – so I have a good balance of technical skills and practical skills gained over many year of working on Builds. My first two builds were complete builds from the ground up, so I had to seek out and get trades on-site to complete work I didn’t have the skills for. Over time I have carried out all sorts of work over the past few years from Setting out a site, Groundworks, Blockwork, Construction, Timber work/studding, Plaster boarding, Fitting kitchens and Bathroom, as well as Wooden Flooring and Tiling, and of course decorating. I leave plumbing, electrical work and plastering to the trades ( and have good contacts ) – but I have a good eye for detail but enjoy fitting kitchens, bathrooms, doors, skirting, and painting.

The subtext in his response, Sheridan openly accepts he didn�t complete the work but that�s okay because in his view it wasn�t essential. So if you want an amateur that quotes for and accepts a job, can�t stick to deadlines or manage the trades he uses to deliver to the estimated amount and after all of that decides what is and isn�t important, Shez is your man!! Otherwise avoid.

Drainage job completed to my satisfaction and the garden was left in a reasonable state on completion. Not turning up at agreed times and the lack of communication was problematic, but we got there in the end.

I was very impressed with Steve and his team of builders.They worked hard and followed my requirements to produce a very professional finish to my new wall.
