I have been time Served since 1989 and self employed since 2003. I specialise in all types of home improvements both supply and fitting of kitchens,bathrooms and wet rooms. Full/part garage conversion ...on a smaller scale I also decorate one off rooms bedroom/living room etc. installing underfloor heating under tiles in conservatories, laying solid wood flooring and so on. Didn't give the Job to Gareth, however this was not a reflection on anything about Gareth. He was prompt polite and knowledgeable, it just came down to me needing the bottom price even though Gareth's quote was very competitive. I had to go with the cheapest for me.

Did not turn up in the morning. I had to travel to meet this tradesman as I don’t live in the property. He didn’t bother to let me know he is not coming. After texting him he said “ Am so sorry i didn’t update my diary can i come see you tomorrow morning ?” When I said he is not getting a good feedback then he’s changed the excuse to “daughter unwell”, certainly a lie. I’ve seen his FB business page so he is a bathroom fitter and joiner?!! I think I’ve had a lucky escape. Avoid.

I am delighted with the work Martyn has done. I wasn't sure exactly what sort of trims I wanted so he brought some samples for me to select from, and even suggested how to finish off the corners of the window reveals. He was prompt, professional and tidy. He saved me money on the tiles as well! I would strongly recommend him, in fact I've asked him to come back and do another little tiling job I have. Mirror Finish Plastering is a company since 1992. Since serving my time as a qualified plasterer, which i won apprentice of the year in Sunderland in 1991, my business has grown from strength to strength. Owning several houses of my own in the rental market, I also work for many Landlors over the years. Not only do I do my own plastering, I do everything that`s needed to do before the tenant moves in: incl. joinery, electrics and gas (which does require the need of a qualified gas engineer and electrician to sign off the work that I do). I pride myself for my timekeeping and punctuality. Once I start a job, I always stay on it, till it´s complete, before I move onto the next one. But the biggest pride I have is, after 29 years of plastering, I have always had a great response from all my customers and NEVER had a call back. Excellent job, 10 out of 10! As a landlady I had few plasterers working for me, David is the best. His work, knowledge (all sorts of building issues) and attitude are more than just professional. To find one person for all of the jobs saves not just money but time and hassle. I will definitely work with him in the future
