Hi, my name is Dan and I run a small Carpentry and Joinery business. I have been working as a joiner for 12 years. I am NVQ level 3 qualified and trained in workshop and site work. I love what I do and would class myself as a perfectionist. I have a small workshop where I made bespoke furniture as well as designing furniture and producing CAD drawings which enables the client to see there furniture on paper before hand and make small changes so they receive the perfect end result. Dan did an excellent job. He took some photos I gave him of a cover I had seen online with a curved top and some measurements of my radiators. He then created some clear CAD drawings of the design to show what the covers would look like. The end result was fantastic and he fitted them snugly to the walls and cut in the skirting board profile perfectly. A great result, solid sturdy covers with a great finish applied. I would thoroughly recommend Dan for any bespoke project you are considering.

City and Guilds trained at Bucks University College in cabinet making. Recommendation "We have recently employed NML Contracts to undertake work on our house of a challenging nature and for which the usual jobbing builder and plumber declined to quote. NML Contracts have demonstrated skills and initiative in dealing with the unexpected and produced a thoroughly satisfactory and pleasing result which has materially improved the attractiveness and serviceability of the house . The work included incorporating a porch into the lounge area , requiring an RSJ some 4.4m in length, In the course of construction t was found that the roof was concrete and was supported by the outer skin of the house, whereas the roof of the house was conventional timber and was supported by the inner skin. It was therefore necessary to use the RSJ to support the concrete and provide suitable timber supports for the main roof . This was done most expertly and quickly and was approved by the building inspectors. All energy conservation requirements were fully met . The work also included two en suite bathrooms for which pumped drainage was necessary " Satisfied customer , D.G.W.
I hired NML contracts to refit my bathroom. The result is simply stunning. We’re so happy with it. Nigel was friendly, easy to work with and took great care to keep things neat and tidy during the works. We will use NML for a larger renovation job we have soon.
We chose to use A&M Carpenter for the refurbishment of the bar in our village hall. The bar serves many purposes so the design had to be very flexible as well as give a good feel to the room and the Hall in general. We told Pedro what we wanted and he did some CGI images for us, we chatted on the phone about stuff and also things we liked. His attention to detail was brilliant, he worked quickly and kept us up to date with the projects development with pictures. Nothing was too much trouble, and we couldn't be happier with the completed job. In fact we have divided this project in two, phase one is now done and we will start phase two early next year. Arnes was good at communicating with me throughout the process. He provided an approximate cost by phone then visited to take measurements and firm up on the price. Although not the cheapest quote I received, Arnes price was competitive and in view of his ratings from previous customers and his accommodating personality I decided to accept his quote. I certainly made the correct choice as Arnes work was of a very good standard and he was both prompt and tidy. I will certainly be using Arnes again.
Mark is such a genuine, decent and honest guy who I instantly felt at home with. He knows his stuff and did a fantastic job on a very tricky joint on fragile worktop where he was required to join two different depth pieces at an angle greater than 90 degrees. The result was lovely and I would absolutely use Mark again. :)
