Art is a superb at what he does. He refurnished my kitchen and and fitted a new bottle trap to the bathroom sink. He tidied up as he went along, and took all the rubbish away. He also quoted a very good price to for the job.
"Better way of building"
We agreed a price he turned up the first day and filled in some places but then didn’t turn up again until I called him. He then decided he could not do part of the job so we renegotiated the price minus the rendering the fascia work. He put filler everywhere and left so much dust and filler and then again txted me to say he wanted more money to complete job , the same as original price but he was doing half the work, I said no and I didn’t hear from him again. He left the exterior in a terrible state.

Reliable and trustworthy, attended everyday and the guys working for Mr E, worked none stop bathroom refit completed in 5 days. Cleaned up after themselves and Mr E went out and collected tiles and bits when I ran out. Good workmanship thank you.

Gave a good quote which I accepted. I felt confident he knew his stuff and would do a good job. But then was a no-show. Offered some vague dates. Didn't hear anything for over a week. Got a message saying he'd had a family emergency (hope all was okay). A week later tried to call me once while I was out so I couldn't answer, but never tried to get back to me. Disappointing. Job still needs doing.
The quotation was not provided. The contract was not provided until job was complete. No details at start of job to show exactly what was to be done, with no cost of materials, labour and VAT shown separately. No payment arrangements and start/finish dates provided. Plasterer had to redo x1 wall.

DPG are a two man operation who seemed friendly and personable. They took £50 cash in advance for cutting the lawn and weeding as I had to work. They cut the lawn but did not weed or finish edging. I text for them to finish the job and they said they would come. However, they didn't turn up as agreed. They have avoided my calls for over a week now and failed to reply to all further calls/voicemail/texts. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend them.
