He quoted £100,000 to do the job in 6 weeks & promised it would be stress free, At 12 weeks in He was told I no longer wanted him to complete the job as I received an electric shock from a socket that was left as a bare cable protruding from the wall. He blamed everybody else then fired the only two decent builders as he held them responsible. Even though I had paid the third stage payment a day previous, I was too distressed and my health was declining due to the anxiety and stress he had caused. Avoid!!

Paint was left bubbling on the walls, had to re do myself, took my money and ran, no idea of what 'preparation' means just painted on walls no primer used, didn't use 'textured paint' as per request, had to remind him of the rail he forgot to paint. Painted over old wallpaper too... Didn't offer to put anything right left me some paint to finish job myself...
