George Bell came to work on some damp related issues in my flat in feb. since having completed the works the problems which first occurred have turned worse and George has been unwilling to get back in contact with me, despite chasing him for 5 months which only reaffirms that the job was poorly undertaken. The company main reception also seems to be a virtual reception so you can never speak with anyone helpful

The patio is good. The only reason why I haven't rated his work higher is because of the mess left behind. I was charged for a skip yet he didn't hire one hence the mess left behind. I found the mess hidden in my garden which was unacceptable. I had to clean the drive because of debris left from his van. Overall, his workmanship is good but work ethics, not so good.

Overall a really nice person but whilst the pointing work was ok, the rest of the work was a bit below atandard. My thatcher came to do the byannual inspection and was critical of the concreting and flashing particularly as the lead flashing had been used under the concrete not around the chimney as expected. He also though the price was very expensive for the work as the flashings had not been done properly. However, had the flashing been done correctly the price would have been a competetive one

I'll start with a positive - quality of build was good. Negatives, was told 2 weeks - 5 months later still not completed (3m x 1m shed and some of it was already in place) and had to get another company to finish it at more expense. Was charged for time in sourcing materials, was told it could be completed within my budget when I increased it by £500 and now he is saying I still owe him more money. Took/disposed of quarry tiles I said I wanted. I wont be using him again

I am awestruck by this guy. We discussed and agreed a price for the job. We lined up decorators and carpet fitters to follow his work and prepared teh spaces for him to work. On the morning he was due to start he texted me to tell me he could no longer do the job as "my van is off the road" and "I can't contact my so-called partner Tim". I tried to call him straight back to see if we could salvage the project either by hiring a van for the few days needed or finding a labourer to help. JUST A TEXT! Be wary!

Alex was very straight forward and easy to deal with. He was also recommended by my builder. He was very thorough. He took photographs of areas of concern and discussed the work with us before he went ahead. I was very happy with the work and the cost and am now confident that my roof will live another few years.

Do not use this trader. I have used Wayne in the past and he completed the job as quoted. Re-booked again this Easter to supply and fit carpet. He took the cash (over £1000) and we have been unable to contact him since. Currently going through small claims to try and get our money back.
