John worked extremely hard to fulfil our brief & also had great vision when considering possibilities. He understood our needs and ensured all snagging was carried out before completion. Installation in spring great - friendly, helpful and worked great. However, when greater use of the boiler (ie. Heating) was needed increased leaks appeared and flooded two floors below. Trying to get 'tony' back to fix the bodge that caused it was impossible. Tony sends streams of lengthy excuses trying to deflect blame onto anyone but himself. These included being busy with other jobs, a way crash, not having declared points on his licence, to falling asleep! He gave compensation.

There were some problems with delivered items to be fitted and Alpin quickly saw a solution and did a careful and neatly completed job. Gave us a reasonable quote for a full rewire (without kitchen) so booked in. Couldn’t complete the work in given time so had to come back the following week. They turned up late, didn’t complete all the works as agreed, didn’t fix any of the issues we raised about the previous work. Continued working and said they would do the snagging on the last day so we paid. Came back later and they had removed all their tools, returned the keys with unfinished work and no certificate for the work completed. Not happy.
