Experienced builder NEW TO RATED PEOPLE ???? Hi everyone. I’m Mitch, I’ve been in the trade since leaving school. I am a general builder that specialises in timber work. I do most jobs from small jobs like laminate flooring all the way upto 2 storey extensions. For the larger jobs I have a reliable team of builders including electricians, plumbers and bricklayers. I am a tradesman with 20+ years of experience in a broad range of construction skills. My carpentry skills include boat work, decks, commercial shopfitting, residential refurbishments and custom jobs. My plumbing skills extend from first fix through to full bathroom/kitchen remodels as well as CCTV drain inspections and repair. I can also turn my hand to flooring including tiling, laminates, etc., and I'm happy to quote on general handyman work, garden projects and fencing.

Welcome to my profile. I treat and install new and reclaimed timer, plus sand and seal. I am a bespoke wood, laminate lvt flooring specialists. My excellent reputation for high quality of workmanship and reliability is testament to more than 25 years industry experience that covers all sectors. I work throughout the Uk on high end projects. I have worked on a unique creation for the Louis Vuitton private museum, La Galleries in Asnieres-Sur-Seine. I created a unique piece for their prestigious display within the museum and that is where it is located to this day. I drew inspiration from the original Damiere Signature and sourced beautiful Oak and Walnut with which he was able to produce this stunning design. I have carried out projects for the Channel 4 Series, Sarah Beenie’s Restoration Nightmare where I installed, repaired, and restored various wooden floors throughout the incredible Rise Hall property in Yorkshire. I went on to work with Sarah again on another Channel 4 programme called Double Your House for Half the Money: Series 3, Episode 4. Jon said he would be on site 0800 Tuesday and that the job would take two days. I wait in for him, he then advises at 08:47 on that he wont be there but promises to be there 0800 Wednesday. Arrives 09:45 Wednesday. I arranged access for him and was at work on Thursday and didn’t realise until he messaged me at 15:24 that he hasn’t turned into work again, can he come back on Saturday. Messages at 05:28 on Saturday saying he can’t come in but can do tomorrow (Sunday). Messed us around. Won’t use again.

Leon and Ashley did a very good job on my floors. I was unable to move my lounge furniture as for being too heavy. They did it with great care and arranging my room for me once the job was finished. A couple friends visited on Sunday and were amazed with the results Even Bow ( my German Shepherd) noticed the change and kept looking and sniffing at the floor. AVOID AT ALL COSTS I can't recommend Tom. Previously TH&Jones Ltd he has changed the company name. He has left us with an extension that doesn't meet building regulations and needs to be taken down. Our house unsalable. I have an independent report to support it. Insufficient foundation, no damp course, insufficient insulation, incorrect installation of roof. He said he would rectify if we paid for 'things unquoted' but failed to show exactly what. We haven't heard from him in months. Stay away!!
