Andrew is a nice guy and does quality work, but for kitchen tiling I am afraid to say is very slow; approx 4 tiles per hour (100x200mm) or 0.8 sq m a day (10 hours). I personally (a diy'er) can do 15 tiles an hour - i.e. 4 times faster. £250 at day is expensive. (My electrician is £175 a day) I ended up capping the job at £600 and decided to complete tiling and grouting myself after 3 days. I would not have hired Andrew if I knew he was this slow and as a result expensive.

I have nothing but praise and where I would like to list the attributes of this contractor, it would take too long but, what I will say is that brilliant in all three categories is a massive understatement. For anybody wanting a plasterer, I cannot recommend this contractor highly enough in all categories; hire with confidence!

Very impressed with SJ Plastering. Joe and 2 other guys (really nice guys, polite, on time, professional, work coconscious etc) have done an absolutely fabulous job of skimming my hall (upstairs/downstairs/ceiling) . The finish is so smooth and lovely, can’t wait to paint. I would 100% recommend and would definitely use again next time.
