Unfortunately as soon as the work was done we developed a leak in the roof (I'm not saying they are related). We were told by Alan's son that the damp was simply the wall drying out. It wasn't and got progressively worse. We did contact Alan again who said he'd come around but didn't. Three other builders have said that the lead work wasn't correctly done and we've since had to pay for it to be redone.

The guys arrived promptly and did the job with no fuss using good old fashioned hard work. No messy stump grinder. Dom did a fantastic job. We reclaimed 6 Victorian pine doors for free from a skip so Dom had to do lots of repairs and making good on the old doors. They look really good. He was reliable, easy going and good to chat to. Highly recommended.

I asked Simon to paint the inside of my house and all woodwork and ceilings. I did say the kitchen and bathroom didn't need doing, so they didn't paint the bathroom door oneighbour the inside but that was part of the woodwork so you have to be specific about what you ask to be done. Also he said he would come back to look at things I wasn't happy with, I emailed him twice but he never came back.
