Derrick is a highly knowledgeable & professional builder, he went over and above expectations when removing a load bearing wall to create a kitchen diner in our house along with removing an outdoor toilet. I’d recommend him in a heart beat & will be using his services in the future for other work.

Geoff was very punctual and professional when completing our job. He made improved amendments to the set up of our toilets for any future enhancements we want to make to the bathrooms at a later stage. We did need to call Geoff back to refit the mechanism in the cistern, but he came back the next evening with no fuss and no extra charge. Overall we are very pleased with the two toilets Geoff fitted and they have made a big difference to the look/feel of our bathroom/cloakroom.

Unfortunately I couldn’t recommend Neil, original quote was £160 plus materials, (1 day job) took him 6 hours to do 10% of the job and ended up asking him to leave as it was going to cost a fortune to keep him on to finish the work. Also quoted £50 - £70 for materials and then in an email quoted it £135. He seems a nice guy but the quality of work was not acceptable for the price.

I cannot speak highly enough of the MBS team. They were everything one would expect from a service provider. They were punctual, polite, they knew what they were doing, the quality of workmanship was high, they were honest and their prices are fair. We told Pedro what we wanted and he did some CGI images for us, we chatted on the phone about stuff and also things we liked. His attention to detail was brilliant, he worked quickly and kept us up to date with the projects development with pictures. Nothing was too much trouble, and we couldn't be happier with the completed job. In fact we have divided this project in two, phase one is now done and we will start phase two early next year. Shame is fantastic, a rare find. I’d use him for anything I do going forwards if he has capacity. Finally got my dream kitchen, hand made with bespoke solid wood cabinets, start to finish in 2 weeks. Delighted!

James did a really good job for the house we’d just bought. The floors were all painted and really ugly, and he sanded them back to the wood and left them looking really nice. He even returned free of charge to fix a problem of “grain raising” which had left the boards a bit rough to the touch and occurred a few days after he’d finished, due to moisture in the space. He was friendly, considerate and empathic, a really pleasant guy to have around and to be involved in our renovation project.

I used the Fourth Room in March 2013 to do a variety of jobs in my elderly Father's garden. I found Stephen to be very reliable, always answering calls/emails and keeping appointements, professional, polite and friendly. He and his team worked tirelessly in sub zero temperatures to complete the work required to a very pleasing standard. I felt that the cost of the work was competative and good value for money. I will certainly use the Fourth Room again.

Needed an urgent sink replacement work and Jason came through reliably. He was engaging, superb communication and timely. He did the job to a very high standard and cleaned up after himself. very highly recommended
