Hired Ian to Build a single story extension and install new kitchen and downstairs shower room . Crew were very pleasant and very helpful in planning the the job ahead of them. Very pleased with the work carried out looks amazing Having to put up with an awkward neighbor didn't deter them from doing and completing the job. The price put in was very reasonable. When the work was ongoing the area was always left clean and as tidy as possible . I would recommend Ian 100% , and would use him again.

I can accept that problems occur and that Christmas is a busy time, but that is no excuse for the complete lack of contact and honesty. So, in the circumstances I do not wish for you to continue with the job.

We can't rate the value as we have little experience of stone masons- it seemed reasonable. He was very helpful and we were grateful that he fitted our job in when we needed it doing fairly urgently. There was some misunderstanding about the colour of the mortar used, but we can live with it. Would recommend him.

I didn't have the work done. They came across as unprofessional and pushy. I can't coment on the quality of the work but I can coment on the quote process. Just verbal price. When I pushed for an email quote I just got the price again and little else. Nothing about what they were going to do as part of the job. I expect better. The last few tradesmen I have had on Rated have been excellent full written quotes and professional from the start. These guys even had to ask if they could borrow a tape measure!

Tim was not able to start the work immediately but as it was not urgent we were happy to wait and he kept us updated on his expected start date.

We used Western Flooring to sand our master bedroom. The price they offered was good and given the spec we gave them they did a good job. However there was a bit of miscommunication and there ended up being some disagreement with how the finish was looking. They did knock a bit off the price because of this, but were reluctant to actually do anything about it. I probably would use them again but would warn myself to be very precise about the work to be done.

Prestige Joinery arranged to come over and do the work, however did not turn up and ignored our calls and never got back to us again!

He quoted £100,000 to do the job in 6 weeks & promised it would be stress free, At 12 weeks in He was told I no longer wanted him to complete the job as I received an electric shock from a socket that was left as a bare cable protruding from the wall. He blamed everybody else then fired the only two decent builders as he held them responsible. Even though I had paid the third stage payment a day previous, I was too distressed and my health was declining due to the anxiety and stress he had caused. Avoid!!
