Derek was brilliant at keeping me informed at each stage using excellent communication. He and his son Josh worked extremely hard through pretty awful weather and finished on time. The raised beds look amazing and Derek had lots of advice and ideas that helped this outcome. Hi My name is Llyw I am a qualified joiner and have been in the trade for the past 14 years. In the past I have worked in the joinery industry working to very high standards producing hardwood windows, doors , shopfronts etc. Once I felt my time had come to an end in this role I worked closely with an investor sourcing , purchasing, project managing and renovating property. In more recent years I have been working within the kitchen installation and renovation industry. Not big or expensive, but an awkward job, and the tradesman gave it his careful attention. We are very pleased with his work, and would use him again if the occasion arose.

You can see why Smith & Son get a good rating. You get a friendly builder that does a good job. We employed him to fit a steel beam and a door lintel. Mr Walker contacted us promptly and his quotation was emailed by the following day. There were a couple of unavoidable delays, but he kept us well-informed of progress. Fitting the new doors was done with meticulous care and adjustment to fit the existing architraves etc. Impressive attention to detail, and the finished job is extremely good. Would certainly use him again when we need similar joinery/carpentry work.
