Asked for details of location, (even though these were part of the add) and agreed to visit at a set time the next day - but didn’t turn up and didn’t contact me again. Very unsatisfactory.

Very disappointed with this “tradesman” and his work. Things went well initially with Mervyn helping to design our bathroom refurb. The work itself seemed to go reasonably well but he when he was called back to fix a leak in the shower this wasn’t done adequately. More and more silicone was added, without fixing the leak. Eventually, when the shower leaked so badly that water poured through our living room ceiling, this guy wouldn’t even answer his phone. My advice would be to avoid.

I would like to re-review as there seemed to be a few misunderstandings on both sides; however Micheal was very professional and following discussions managed to correct the situation, so my original review still applies. I would recommend future dealings with Michael and his workmanship is top standard. I'd been messed about by a couple of roofers and builders before. Purcells turned up when they said they would (the same day!) priced everything, got the parts and then did the job to a great standard. They weren't difficult to pay and I can't recommend them highly enough
