Hi, my name is Sheridan – new to Ratedpeople and would like to get more reviews. Friendly approach with clients to fulfil all their work. Involved in all aspects of building. We provide a quick turnaround on quotes at competitive rates. We always keep a clean and tidy site. Customer satisfaction is our main priority. Started in building Sept 2016. Previously a Production Engineer, but decided to change to a job that was more hands on with a good social connection. I chose building work – so I have a good balance of technical skills and practical skills gained over many year of working on Builds. My first two builds were complete builds from the ground up, so I had to seek out and get trades on-site to complete work I didn’t have the skills for. Over time I have carried out all sorts of work over the past few years from Setting out a site, Groundworks, Blockwork, Construction, Timber work/studding, Plaster boarding, Fitting kitchens and Bathroom, as well as Wooden Flooring and Tiling, and of course decorating. I leave plumbing, electrical work and plastering to the trades ( and have good contacts ) – but I have a good eye for detail but enjoy fitting kitchens, bathrooms, doors, skirting, and painting.
Interesting pattern with any review highlighting issues with Sheridan’s work. It’s always the customer that’s wrong. The subtext in his response, Sheridan openly accepts he didn’t complete the work but that’s okay because in his view it wasn’t essential. So if you want an amateur that quotes for and accepts a job, can’t stick to deadlines or manage the trades he uses to deliver to the estimated amount and after all of that decides what is and isn’t important, Shez is your man!! Otherwise avoid.
We do all aspects of bathrooms and minor building works, we take pride in our work and enjoy leaving the customers with a smile on their faces.
Our build prerequisites were to divide a room & close an open archway, build two extra walls, move steps and a handrail, put in two entrances with doors for the new build and paint & carpet this area. Matthew (MDCC Construction) was qualified and very helpful – giving us good advice. He is an honest, tidy and thorough builder, willing to accommodate the building manager's questions and happy to make amendments. We were thrilled with the speed and finish of this build, and we will definitely use them again.

Sam gave a good price to supply and install solid oak stair cladding his workmanship was exceptional and outstanding. He was a lovely man couldn’t do enough for us. He cleaned up after himself. He come when he said he would come. He finished the job as when he said he would finish the job, he was very kind very friendly and the Work was very reasonably priced. I do most jobs from small jobs like laminate flooring all the way upto 2 storey extensions. For the larger jobs I have a reliable team of builders including electricians, plumbers and bricklayers. Excellent Work on Partition Wall, Electrics, and Finish. ?We recently hired these guys to install a partition wall separating our staircase from the living room, and the results are fantastic. ?The entire process was handled with exceptional professionalism. The team not only constructed a solid, well-integrated wall, but they also took care of all the necessary electrical work (including new switches) and followed up with pristine plastering.

Really disappointed. Lovely guy, good workmanship but unbelievably unreliable. You have to chase really hard, he will tell you he's coming and then nothing. No communication, no arrival and no work. Started a job for us in August, it's now January and not complete. Given up on him. If you want a 2 week job to take 5 months and still be incomplete.....then he's highly recommended.
