I’ve worked in the construction industry since I was 16. Doing complete property refurbs right back to the bare shell to complete the project. Went to college when I was 27 and served my time with Rothwells plumbing services where I learned all aspects of plumbing and heating installations. I’ve worked for various social housing providers installing wet rooms bathrooms, heating systems kitchen tiling, and many other tasks. I paid for new roof in 2017 with 25 years warranty. In November 2024 the roof felt apart. I made claim through my insurance company who appointed BVS surveyor to inspect the roof. Insurance claim was declined due to poor workmanship ( insufficient battens, not secureed dry verge, tiles and not enough felt). I asked Roofsmart honour their warranty but they refused saying that I paid cheap and now they charge 10k for new roof but who wants defective roof in the first place Now I need to take legal action.

Had a quote for a new gate to be installed, while here, we got discussing redoing the driveway in either resin or block paving. Nico suggested just getting it cleaned and treated for now while I decided. The result was amazing!! It looks like a brand new driveway. Highly recommend Nico, nothing was too much trouble to explain or give a demonstration. Ended up not only getting the new gate and fence, driveway cleaned, treated, sanded and sealed but also the back garden treated and cleaned. Fabulous work!
