We agreed terms and price. Arrived, said they couldn't move everything at that price, so agreed what they could move for the pre-agreed price. Said they had finished but didn't move some garden waste bags because they were too heavy (weight was never a factor when I was quoted originally), but nevermind. Asked to swap the bags for something else lighter and they wouldn't after I was quoted for a full van load with space still in the van. The van arrived with some other items already in there by the way.

We used Kingz for clearance of a very overgrown garden and new fencing. They did exactly what they said they would do in their quote. Andrew is a nice guy and does quality work, but for kitchen tiling I am afraid to say is very slow; approx 4 tiles per hour (100x200mm) or 0.8 sq m a day (10 hours). I personally (a diy'er) can do 15 tiles an hour - i.e. 4 times faster. £250 at day is expensive. (My electrician is £175 a day) I ended up capping the job at £600 and decided to complete tiling and grouting myself after 3 days. I would not have hired Andrew if I knew he was this slow and as a result expensive.
