I have 18 years experience working for a building company that does insurance claims. And now I have been self employed for 6 years. I have public liability insurance.
Unfortunately I couldn’t recommend Neil, original quote was £160 plus materials, (1 day job) took him 6 hours to do 10% of the job and ended up asking him to leave as it was going to cost a fortune to keep him on to finish the work. Also quoted £50 - £70 for materials and then in an email quoted it £135. He seems a nice guy but the quality of work was not acceptable for the price.

We told Pedro what we wanted and he did some CGI images for us, we chatted on the phone about stuff and also things we liked. His attention to detail was brilliant, he worked quickly and kept us up to date with the projects development with pictures. Nothing was too much trouble, and we couldn't be happier with the completed job. In fact we have divided this project in two, phase one is now done and we will start phase two early next year. I found Stephen to be very reliable, always answering calls/emails and keeping appointements, professional, polite and friendly. He and his team worked tirelessly in sub zero temperatures to complete the work required to a very pleasing standard. I felt that the cost of the work was competative and good value for money. I will certainly use the Fourth Room again.
DO NOT EMPLOY THIS BUILDER!! He has laid my wood flooring onto carpet without my knowledge and now the floor is ruined. He took on the job even though he wasn't qualified or capable of given that he told me he was,and has then stated that I told him to lay down the wood flooring onto carpet. I can CATEGORICALLY deny that. He now will not answer my calls to discuss this. UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE AND A LIE.

They offered advice throughout the process and never gave any hard sale but explained the options and what it would mean and cost for any changes to what we wanted. Triac mended a broken garden fence which had blown down in the wind. He put in new posts with concrete and used the existing panels to make the fence look like new! He also built a new fence at the front of the house. The fence looks great. Triac is reliable and very friendly. Would definitely recommend him.
