We are a family run Father & Son business based in Broadstairs Kent, with over 45 years experience .City & Guilds and Advanced Craft qualified. We provide a range of bespoke MDF furniture, Fitted wardrobes, Alcove cabinets and storage solutions to maximise the use of space in any room. Decorative wall panelling is another service we offer to enhance the look of any hallway, bedroom, lounge, kitchen etc ,wherever you want to make a statement and add a distinctive feature to a room. Where storage is required we aim to construct most of the work in our workshop to limit the disturbance in a clients home. We fully liaise with the client to create the design and details they want to achieve. We also cover a range of other carpentry requirements, doors , staircases etc. Full Insurance .
Very, very pleased with Dean and his sons work. He gave a good quote quickly, came and did the work on the day he had offered. I have a lovely new, well constructed decking. I would use D Northwood Carpentry again and recommend them. Quick efficient work and a reasonable cost.

STAY well away from this company. Quoted to fit stair carpet and stair rods. Arrived late and Ryan started to cut the stair rods. Ryan stayed for 3 hours then just walked out with no warning and never came back. I then found out that he cut 8 of the stair rods incorrectly. I advised him of this and he said he would replace. After not responding to my texts I can assume he is not replacing them which has now left me £88.00 out of pocket to replace. Be warned .

I have grown up on a construction site and have always had a good hand in lead ever since I was 4 years old. I had worked with my father doing plumbing and by the time I was 13 years old I was a part time partner in his company, I further went to college and qualified in level 2 NVQ Plumbing and had carried a full-term apprenticeship, creating a portfolio. Once finishing my qualifications I became a full time partner in my father’s general building company which entailed doing, extensions, refurbs, plumbing and heating, kitchen & bathroom refurbishments, new builds, roofing and lead work. We ran the company together for a further 8 years on top of his 45 years of quality construction. Afterwards I have done my own jobs and have now recently created my own company B.J.T Construction, named after my 3 young boys a business that shows we are built upon family, integrity, quality and professional standards. To help create a business that will always provide everything the client requires and to which everything that should be upheld.
Jack did a good neat job sealing the UPVC of my bay windows to the concrete sill. He also he repaired and filled a patch in a stud wall and refixed the speaker bracket that had come away causing the hole in the first place. He was on time, very helpful and cleaned up thoroughly. I appreciated the fact that, although small jobs, Jack treated them just the same way as a large extension. I'm happy to recommend him and will certainly call him again if I need to.
