When they came round to give me the quote they took the time to properly investigate the loft and talk through the extent of the problems and what needed doing. When they identified additional problems after having started they gave a fair price for the work involved. After a few delays (weather and sickness) the job was well completed. Only disappointment was bags of rubbish left at top of garden. Would have paid to have them removed but wasn’t a discussion.
