I have been a joinery for 13 years served my time with a good squad of joiner and was well trained in all aspect of joiner. I have my level 3 NVQ and diploma in carpenter and joinery. I do all joiner work and take on small renovation contracts, can supply and fit all materials. Very disappointed with this “tradesman” and his work. Things went well initially with Mervyn helping to design our bathroom refurb. The work itself seemed to go reasonably well but he when he was called back to fix a leak in the shower this wasn’t done adequately. More and more silicone was added, without fixing the leak. Eventually, when the shower leaked so badly that water poured through our living room ceiling, this guy wouldn’t even answer his phone. My advice would be to avoid.

30/11/23. Ideal Engineer was arranged to come out to check installed boiler by Boiler Tech. Hot and cold pipes where discovered to be reversed and attached opposite ways. Which needed corrected by another plumber before two parts of the boiler were replaced. Boiler engineer stated the parts failed because the system wasn’t flushed prior to installation. Documented by Ideal.

Tradesman came out to give a quote. Was advised I would be contacted by a painter about the staircase, I never heard from him. Contacted tradesman again, arranged a time in advance to complete job quoted for. Tradesman didn't come back to confirm, job not done.
I was very let down by this company last year. It ended up costing me nearly half as much again, as I was originally quoted, to get put right and get fixed up what 'improvements' he made. Not recommended by me at all.

Contacted Paul five weeks ago for him to come out and assess the repairs I needed done. I have not heard from him since. He doesn't seem to be reliable enough to get what you are needing done.
Initially great service, quick and didn’t over do the job ie suggested a cheaper alternative which was great - however sadly they suggested doing some other work on the roof which agreed to but they haven’t finished the job been a month and still not finished and is no longer communicating which is disappointing
