From quote to starting the job, they did what they said they would, turned up when they said they would, whilst doing the jobs (efficiently and well), they noticed other work that needed doing - took photos where it was impossible for us to see and quoted on the work. Job completed October but by November asked for them to comeback as new sink put in was leaking badly and blocked - not flowing out but doing well coming up from the washing machine…all connected. Said would be back, didn’t. Rang from my night shift no answer even though he was using What’s app…now paying again for what they didn’t come back and sort out. Also, 2 cupboard doors came off their hinges, new tap had to be tightened, was v lose… and yes, I could easily have had my Belfast sink put in too Hoti.

Professional carpenter with over 30 years of experience. I do 1st and 2nd fix carpentry and joinery (door frames, doors, architrave, skirting boards, locks, partitions, floors, kitchen and staircases etc). I have a qualification in NVQ2 carpentry.
Not cheap but did a good job and cleared up afterwards. Polite and on time. Didn't charge me for materials.
Excellent plasterer and renovator. Years of experience in all aspects of building works. Confident and competent to transform any property. Passion for gardening/maintenance of properties inside and out.To me the first impression is a lasting impression. Most small jobs can be estimated via pictures makes life simpler for most working people. 50% of the job as a deposit to secure a job and 50% when finishing Is usually expected. It took him 2.5 days to install a new kitchen tap. Issues he struggled with: connection to a boiling water machine, no isolater valves, 40’ waste pipe and the hot and cold supply pipes were mixed up (lots of moaning about the previous builders), many trips to screwfix and parts purchased that were not required; in that time he did also change a Yale barrel lock.
