Victor and his team did a great job with fitting the electrics in the kitchen and plasterboarding the kitchen. They left the place clean and was reasonable with the price. I will certainly use them again.

The previous review was done under duress with Billy standing over me. The truth is, he disappears for considerable lengths of time (days), leaves equipment behind so you can't hire anyone else, switches his phone off so you can't contact him during this time and has the attitude of a bully. He removed our toilet to fix a blocked pipe but then left it so it wasn't fixed back to the floor properly and moved around, when we were in the process of selling our flat, with surveyors coming round. Not recommended.

The poor review I posted wasn't about the later repairs. It was about the inital calls and emails I made which took a week to confirm the original work date ( poor reliability) and the difference in value between actual materials used and labour (quality and value) .

We are a family run business and have been in the plumbing and drainage industry for 15 plus years. Ashely initially appears honest although he is very inexperienced, unprofessional and pulls quotation figures out of thin air. he was unable to identify the problem and therefore went through a myriad of potential remedies which he kept billing me for before working out what the actual issue was. I had a blocked Kitchen sink when I contacted Ashley via Active Plumbing £700 later I still have a blocked sink, a gaping whole in the back of my kitchen units and a leaking sink. 1/10 Avoid at all costs.

Came to repair the hole, all good until our trusted decorator came to paint the ceilings. He did his mis-coat and then the plaster all bubbled up and peeled off.. have been told that the board wasn’t sealed with pva before plastering, so any moisture has just sunk through with nothing to cling to.. no we have to pay to get the ceiling re-done!!
